The Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial Library is excited to introduce a brand-new fundraiser in 2026 — and it comes with a side of comfort food! Our Monthly Sloppy Joe Fundraiser kicks off on Friday, January 23, 2026, marking the first year of what we hope will become a favorite community tradition.
On the 4th Friday of each month, stop by the library at 27 W. 4th Street, Emporium beginning at 12:00 PM to pick up Mrs. Strycula’s Sloppy Joes for just $5 per sandwich. Sandwiches will be available until sold out, and no preorders are required — just come hungry.
This fundraiser is an easy (and delicious) way to support the library. All proceeds benefit library programs and services, helping us continue to offer engaging events, educational opportunities, and resources for all ages.
Please note that food is prepared in a non-commercial kitchen.
