Mission Statement
The Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial Library is a vital part of the educational and cultural resources of Cameron County, and, as such, our materials and services are planned to meet those needs. The Library strives to enrich the quality of life in Cameron County by providing educational materials, services and programs to help citizens follow their own pursuits of education, inquiry and enlightenment. To this end, the Library endeavors to make available the latest technological access to its material collection and to provide the public with informational resources that support lifelong learning.

The Library closes early on days of seriously inclement weather during the winter. You may call the Library at 814-486-8011 for more information. You can also tune into local radio station WLEM at 1250 AM when we are closing for weather related or other emergencies.
